The Alamo Colleges implements an annual winter hiring schedule affecting the start of employment for benefited employees at the end of each calendar year.

Upon return from the Winter Break on 01/03/2018, the normal hiring process will resume.  For your benefit, the dates below are provided to help plan your hiring needs.

11/13/2017 Last day to submit hiring recommendations for 12/04/2017 start date
11/16/2017 Last New Employee Orientation (NEO) for 2017
11/27/2017 Last day to submit hiring recommendations for employees (faculty and staff) starting after the Winter Break (01/03/2018).
12/04/2017 Last day to start new hires and transfers/promotions in 2017

 

Submitting your   requisitions and recommendations  for hire in accordance with these deadlines will ensure a smooth transition of hiring benefited employees before and after the annual Winter Break.
